Right if fit then this is my 11 for coventry , we need to go for it in these remaining games , 442 .

Macca
Mills LB
Osbourne CB
Collins CB
Davies RB
Dembele RM
Summerfield CM
Mcallister CM
Jayiseimi LM
Wilks ST
Jackson ST

We need to stop this negative feel so lets have a go with some big changes in the team and formation, some might not agree and feel free to argue my point , i know some aint gonna be match fit 100% but we cant be any worse can we ?

Can't we sneak an extra one or two on? Re-name the thread 'my 13 for Coventry'?

Yes , clifton not done anything wrong but we need our experience and i would say quality .

Mcallister some would argue has proved nothing yo be in the team but imo we need a change in there and im so baffled as to why these past few months he doesnt get a kick.

Didn't go yesterday, but sounded like Mcsheffrey still is a good dead ball specialist.

Need him to try make something actually happen from a corner or a free kick for once

System is dependant on who's available for me.

If Wilks, Summerfield and Jackson are all available then I'd have them all in. If not, I'd be looking at a different system compared to if they were.

Not much options to change things at the back if Osbourne and Suliman aren't available either.

Something must have gone on with McAllister he's still not making the bench where short in midfield it was suicide yesterday playing 2 centre mids in Berrett and Clifton against Lincoln's three whch included Frecklington who's had a good career and Woodyard who's always impressed since Braintree.

Jolley going to have to look at getting a centre mid free agent because if Rose is a trouble causer people have been saying that leaves us with Berrett, Clifton and a aging Ben Davies in midfield.

The players available at the moment for Coventry team 11 could be,

Mckeown

Mills
Clarke
Collins
Fox

Clifton
Berrett
Davies or Rose

Dembele
Matt
Mcsheffrey

Killip
Osborne
Hall-Johnson
McAllister
DJ
Wilks
Hooper or Jackson

Clarke, Berrett, Matt and Wolford should never feature for us again.

Mills must be injured as I cannot see why he would have been left out yesterday.

There is clearly some reason why McAllister is not being picked as now 3 managers have had no intention of picking him unless he is the midfielder causing problems.

I'd love to see DJ and Dembele play from the off but again no manager has looked at that option.

Unfortunately Osborne is just as poor as Clarke.

I doubt Summerfield will be fit or even Wilks and Jackson.

Players that have not played much in the last 17 games like Clifton , DJ,  Jackson and Wilks should play if fit,

Because they are not in the same mind set as most of the players that have played in the majority of them,

So if we go behind their heads will not drop, ( hopefully )

We have got to try something , anything !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that's Macca, Fox the above 4 and perm any 5  from the rest.

I suspect a free agent centre half might be on MJ's wishlist before Coventry

Who are the most mentally strong and up for a fight? because that is what we need.
Macca
Mills
Davies
Collins
Summerfield
Clifton

Help, I cannot think of another 5

I guess I would have to add Fox and McSheffrey as they have something to prove. Easy to see why we are in trouble.

Give McAllister a go... When we're in this position we can't freeze any player out.
Put McSheffery behind the midfields and for Clifton's benefit, he'll have an experienced man behind him and giving him the direction he needs on the pitch.

Can't justify playing 2 strikers with the players we have.

McSheffrey in front of the back 4???

If I was picking the side I would go ultra defensive.
Just leave one man up and try to hit em on the break.
Not the football I want to see  but a 0-0 is a point we desperately need.

Summerfield has been player of the season and injured and Berrett is all we have in centre mid along side young Clifton, old Davies, injured McAllister who hasn't hardly played in two seasons and Rose who apperently is a trouble causer and dosen't do much according to some take your pick for centre mid.

Dembele Clifton McSheffrey

If Wilks or Jackson are available then bring them in at Dembele's expense
Who knows, maybe the ex player curse might hit Coventry....

Decent, that.  Get as many of our most talented/exciting players (Dembele/DJ/Wilks) on the pitch together.

McSheffrey has to start IMO.

Someone said we've scored 12 goals from open play all season? we need to make free kicks, corners count etc...

Put all the player names into a hat and have a raffle with the fans, where the winner gets to pick out 11 players and put them into any formation they wish. Has just as much chance of getting three points. I'd play all three keepers myself.  :)

The fact that we all vary so widely in our preferred line ups just demonstrates that there are few standout players. It's a squad packed with mediocre options.

I think I will wait on hearing an update on the injury situation. I'd certainly include Wilks and Summerfield if fit. I'd give starts to McSheffrey, Clifton and Cardwell. Mills and RHJ probably too.

To be honest few of the rest of the players fill me with much optimism.
