Whilst very pleased with a point on Saturday, I am not so sure it was a solid start at all.  To be fair Port Vale were on a terrible run when they came to Blundell Park, but in the most part they were by far the better team, and they should really have won the game with a bit to spare.  Without Macca playing a 10/10 game, we would surely have lost this game.  I certainly don't blame Jolley at this stage at all, he has inherited a pure 100% pile of shite in the squad, but solid start flatters Saturdays game in my opinion. I fear for us at Lincoln and sadly can see us shipping 4+ goals in a bad defeat.  Touch wood we will survive this season, but I think there will be a lot of twists and turns to go.

All that matters is survival so we can get this blip of a season behind us UTM

Totally agree, just want an honest manager that does not feed us BS all of the time.

As I said at half-time on Saturday, the phrase "You can't polish a turd" comes to mind.

I thought he did well Saturday, he’s doing the best with what he’s got, what else can he do?
