That clip shows the only time in the game that Dembele cut into the box and squared the ball , thus giving a goalscoring chance . We need him to do that far more than he does.

What was positive about that clip were four things...
Clifton breaking up play high up the pitch
Clifton then breaking into the box ready for the cross
Clifton changing his angle to recieve the ball when the ball in was delayed
Dembele actually picking out a colleague with the initial ball in

Did anybody notice Cardwell taking the free kick near the goal line direct to the face? Fair play that man. I know many a player that would have turned their back on that rather than take one square in the mush, if he had done it almost certainly would have gone in so 👏👏

The best thing about that was he just flinched and charged out after the ball.....many a Premier League player would have been rolling around the floor after that and wearing a plastic mask for weeks.
