Jolley identified a couple of players he wants to bring in since watching the Grimsby Town games, nothing completed (looking to bring one in this week) yet, but the wheels are in motion.
Quoted from Radio Humberside Interview with John Tondeur
Jolley said: “Having looked at it from the outside before I joined the club, I had identified a couple of people that could help us.

“We are trying to put the wheels in motion. Nothing is completed yet, but we are certainly looking to be active and add to our numbers, with good players and good people.

“Clearly anyone who does come in will have to hit the ground running. We will make an assessment on that if and when they are here.

“I will only bring players in that I feel can help us in the next ten games, because if not there wouldn’t be much point to it. That is the intention, so let’s see what happens.”

Bad news about some of those injuries with every game remaining so important, though at least Wilks is back and it doesn't sound as though Jackson is far off.

Will be interesting to see who these possibly incoming players are.

Couple of players that can create/score goals hopefully.

No mention of Clifton so would we assume he's fit again?

Thank god for a manager who tells us about injuries as opposed to Slade who acted like he was giving out state secrets.

I get the impression that Wilks and Davies aren't ready to start. Doesn't leave much to work with does it? Guessing:

McKeown

Mills
Collins
Suliman
Hall-Johnson

Berrett/McCallister
Rose
Clifton

DJ
Hooper
Dembele

Ben Davies comes into our shop very regularly, was in yesterday and said he is 100% fit and ready to play so i'd expect him to start.

Refreshing too that the player on media duty wasn't a defender over 34.

Sometimes I understand why managers keep things close but I think Slade had an agenda with the local media.

That's good news about Davies. He's a proper pro and a leader and god knows we need them all available!

I’m not so certain that Suliman will be straight into the team. Would love to be wrong though!

Dixon out could be the Monkhouse injury toward the end of the promotion season that sees us over the line.

There is a god.

I wonder if anyone’s told MJ about Max Wright? I know it’d be throwing him in at the deep end, but I bet he’d jump at the chance of coming back....

Yeh I think his attitude is refreshing. Honest and open to the media and fans it seems

Sounds like he had done some homework on the team before he was appointed.

I shall be there on Saturday giving my total support to the manager and whatever team he selects. Sounds like there will be changes (some enforced). Could be an interesting selection.

Gave the neighbours who'd been trying to keep up with us some of the Royal Doulton and sold some to the last but one occupant of the house

People on twitter seem to think they've a picture of Gary Mcsheffrey training with Town today. There's another player who nobody has named yet too

Surely not? He is 35, left Eastleigh for personal reasons in November so I doubt he is up to speed after 4 months without a game.

Thought there was quite a few players in the pre match presser video that I’ve definitely never seen before! Interesting...

i watched the interview on IFollow and I did notice a couple of players I didn't recognise.  One was just in front of Ben Davies, similar size and blonde short hair.  Good interview too, and a good summary.  I hope the players buy into his philosophy and give it there all and the fans remain patient and supportive.  I can see us getting 3pts :)

35- As old as that?

Take him out and have him shot immediately. Coffin dodger.  :-/

Agree Ginny, as soon as someone mentioned McSheffry the image was clearer.  Although 35, he has great technique.  You never know he might pop up with a winner if he signs.  Free transfer deadline I think is the end of March.

New players can also bring confidence into the team. Players that have experience that can give that little bit extra, and also make them realise they may have to fight that but harder too
