Good to see the club trying to get people in. Just need some results to back it up!

Totally appreciate the club are doing something to drum up extra support and I'm fully behind offering offers, however it only benefits the people who haven't been supporting the club through thick and thin again.

My mate who probably couldn't give two f*cks about the club, can get in for free, but season ticket holders get nothing again.

Should of been a free pint or something along them lines for the season ticket holders.

Again, another reason not to renew next year for me.

Bravo!

I am going to make the effort to get to these games. If my daughter misbehaves she may well find herself dragged along an all.

Dual tickets on sale today (by phone at least).  Tried to book tickets yesterday but they were updating their IT systems.  A good deal.

Anything that gets more people in the ground can only be a good thing.

Didn't work last time out ....or the time before that...or the..  ;)

Yes ..this week might just help as its a new start and all that. Great opportunity for MJ to gain a 100% win rate as a League manager .

Good work.

There's a bigger picture here and although some STH won't be happy, this is a good move.

But surely as a ST holder, you are delighted to see more fans?

I believe there is more to a ST than makes 1 free game worth moaning about?

Vouchers when you collect it.
First choice seats for the big games, or cup games if they happen
And the value means approx 5-6 games free doesnt it?

I'll see if i can find anyone who wants to go. Last home game i had to miss, no-one wanted to use my season ticket, so i advertised it on here and got one reply.  ;D

I'm all for it myself. Visions of the Gillingham and Barnet home games spring to mind.

The Lincoln boom started with offers for their FA Cup games - tenner a ticket I think it was, maybe with kids go free. However, they had a very good winning team at the time...

FFS, if he's a good mate he will be more than happy to buy you your pint if you get him a free ticket?

I'm a STH and have no problem with this offer.

There must be an attendance sweet-spot that we just can't find. Nail that and it'll all look after itself.

Let's pack the park. Our support is more important than ever, so drag along anyone you can. Let's make as much noise as possible, and be proud to support gtfc.

Anyone got any idea of how many tickets sold for Sat. I think we could see bumper crowd on sat. Maybe even 6000+

Doubt there will be a huge response tbh.

Speaking to lots of locals who have been regulars in the past the scars are just too deep for many to suddenly return on the back of a cheap/free ticket.

For me survival is the only thing that matters but some have absolute hatred for our major shareholder. Maybe as an exile you don't get the local vibe?

I offered the free ticket that is available with my season ticket, but no takers

As a season ticket holder, I could well grumble that it doesn't benefit me.. but it does benefit me!

I'd much rather see the stands more full with people who have paid a discounted ticket price, than more than half empty and every adult pay £20 to see the match!

I think everyone should be with that mindset, it doesn't matter how much the person in the seat next to you paid, lets get behind them!

I know of 6 people going on Saturday that wouldn't be there under Slade (8 if you include me and son of).  3 of those were persuaded by the BOGOF offer.

It's good to see the club making an active effort as opposed to just assuming the fans will come back now that Slade has gone.

Of course there is still a long way to go.  But a journey of a thousand miles starts with just one small step.  !!!  UTM

Didn’t think so.

It doesn't matter how many are there, as long as those who are wholeheartedly get behind the boys and cheer them on. We can't afford to turn against the players if we go behind today, for a few weeks they need our full backing, as they're the only ones who can get us out of this horrendous mess.

I know the club are expecting around 5000. i think they've sold roughly 1500 tickets so far. i would personally hope for 5.5k + but i'm not botherd aslongs who ever is there supports the team and creates a good atmosphere.

This is the first game for ages that i'm a little nervous and certainly excited. Same players.. different manager.. but what i think is important. different attitude. Fans need to make sure they don't get on players backs if things don't go right. We don't want players scared to make a mistake because they will just pass backwards or sideways.

Lets be posititve and go get the 3 points!
