I've just noticed that the football season in Sweden ended in November 2017, it doesn't start again for Allsvenskan and Superettan professional leagues until 31 March 2018. (ohmy)

Maybe Jolley can sign some players who are without a club and out of contract, circumventing our closed transfer window (Confused)

Standard isn't very good so rather not... I believe a lad who couldn't get into towns 1st team went over their and plays(Ed) regular in the top division.

The standard of football we play is dreadful so someone with heart and desire would be an improvement on the majority of them who don’t give a toss

Although the side that came 5th won at The Emirates 10 days ago.

His star player at Eskilstuna winger Omar Eddahri and left back Andrew Fox (who we had on trial in the summer!) both appear to be out of contract...

The other left-back is out of contract as well, previously played for the likes of Marseille and AC Millan, and played in the UK / Europe before, so International clearance might not be a stumbling block.

Doesn't the transfer window relate to our season not other countries

Bolton signed a player who was out of contract for one of Swedens top sides a few days ago. Link >> http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43272798
Quoted from BBC Sport | Posted: 3 March 2018
"Bolton Wanderers have signed forward Chinedu Obasi on a deal until the end of the season, subject to international clearance. The 31-year-old, who most recently had a spell with Swedish side AIK, signs following a trial with the Trotters."

A player would have to have been out of contract, in fact unattached before our transfer window closed. Realistically, he would be weeks away from match fitness of course, and there would have to be a very good reason why he hasn't got a club, i.e. he isn't shite!

We can sign foreign based players on Bosman's now for next season but I'd assume we will have no foresight to do so under John Fenty.

You could have put dave boylen at centre back on saturday and it would have been an improvement.

Our standard right now is bring your boots you could get a game.

Lukeo - can you say  you've actually got a knowledge of the Swedish leagues?

We can sign a player that is out of contract because it is not a transfer,

If a player is out of contract in this country there would be a reason for that ie. unfit or rubbish,

BUT

It is close season for a few more weeks in Sweden and not all Swedish players are rubbish,

I wonder if Michael knows one that can find the net for us,

That would be a big improvement.

If Jolley thinks anyone would be fit enough and good enough, don't forget he's seen three games already, then maybe if they are looking for a contract they may have more passion and desire than those already here.

Collins was a free agent last year and he turned out to be one of our better players.

If Slade didn't think he was any good sign him up now
