Ostersunds owner involved in possible takeover of Hartlepool. Barnsley only recently changed hands too.

Proves there are potential investors out there for "unfashionable" clubs in the north. Hopefully the board are still being pro-active in this crucial area in order for the club to take a step forward..

At this moment in time are Hartlepool a better prospect for takeover than us, or are they just cheaper?

All I can hope is that we limp over the line this season and as soon as we are safe Mr.Fenty does something pro -active and makes the obvious move and takes a back seat till a buyer can be found. This would give us some breathing space and perhaps persuade any possible investors that he is serious of wanting out.

If he stepped away from the daily running of the club as a starting point, it would help remove the negativity and in some cases downright hostility to his tenure, whilst giving the club some breathing space. You sometimes have to accept that you are doing more harm than good.

Love him or loathe him it just hasn't worked out for him; unless there is some very startling news about a new stadium or new investment working in tandem he surely has to remove himself, bit  by bit from the club?

I suppose his supporters will argue that it is unfair for him to hold the purse strings whilst not having a day to day involvement, but that is the price you have to pay. His major investments were many years ago, and it is unfair on the club as a whole to have to continue with him making all the (mainly wrong) decisions for any longer.

maybe not as a club or fanbase but could be about the area.  Lets be honest Grimsby has had an awful lot of bad publicity (both football and non football).
