Always worth having something to look forward to...

Whoever the new manager is - permanent or caretaker till the end of the season - we have 4 massive games which will determine our survival:

Port Vale (H)
Chesterfield (H)
Barnet (H)
FGR (A)

These games, the last three in particular, will go a long way to deciding the relegation battle this season - we could even be responsible for sending both Barnet and FGR down - how good would that feel?

Then a summer of building a new squad, surely that package is attractive to any hungry manager (not Steve Evans!!)

I'm hoping FGR is a flip flop game myself.

Too right. The thought of that being crucial is terrifying.

So long as it's not crucial for us..!

The way it looks now, they will have gone past us by the time that game comes round.

I think FGR will be well clear by then, so if it is a crucial game, then it would be us that would be panicking. I want to be safe by that game.

We currently are safe and the bottom two have been as bad as us, but for far longer than we have. We've been helped by beating Barnet, Chesterfield and Port Vale at their grounds, and have them all to play at home yet. It's entirely in our own hands. Admittedly, we could carry on being rubbish, but there is no sign yet that they won't carry on being rubbish too.

Fenty'll be looking forward to be lifted shoulder high off the pitch after a defeat  at Nailsworth then.

Weather could be good that time of the year but not sure it's safe footwear for a crowd.
