Full league programme tonight in League 2, barring us of course, because we brought that game forward with Morecambe, which bit us on the ar$e. Would have been a good time to play them tonight but hey ho!.

Despite our abysmal form for 12 games, we haven't hardly dropped down at all, given that teams below us have been equally bad, and have played less games to boot. Tonight some could make ground on us with those extra games they have, but they still have to win them of course. Crewe look to have a tough task and hopefully they will carry on with their sequence of defeats. Losing to them was criminal given the run they are on.

Anyway, there are still seven teams below us and we only need to finish above two of them. It's still in our hands despite what may happen tonight.

We can only drop 1 place tonight as Port Vale's game is off. We'll drop a place if Yeovil beat Barnet (which I hope they do).

Didn't know that game was off. Agree on Yeovil beating Barnet, who look almost gone now, so that result would go some way to leaving only one more relegation spot realistically.

I think Accy will beat Crewe and Yeovil ought to beat Barnet so might not be too bad. I fancy Lincoln to beat Cheltenham with goals in the game. We'll see. Game of the night in L2 is Luton V Crawley.

I thought the same up until Saturday, when they had a very good win over Notts County, so maybe still life in them yet.

Worryingly, if Chesterfield win they still have a game over us. Win that and they're 3 pts behind us. They looked dead and buried, we really need to start winning and not rely on these other teams

* They're winning Cambridge 1-0 already. :-/.*

Barnet, Crewe and Chesterfield all lost tonight. That helps. They become the bottom three.

FGR just four points behind us with a game in hand, so they will pass us soon.

Looks like Barnet have a mountain to climb. We need ti match Crewe and Chesterfield from her on in to stay up fairly comfortably.

Don't think you can recall outside of the transfer window on a long term loan (unless it's a keeper)

Yep and Chesterfield are still 9 points behind with an inferior goal difference and a game less to catch us. Crewe have now lost 20 games and are in big trouble. Barnet still 4 wins behind. Games running out for them all.

IMO we have three massive games before the season ends all at home v Port Vale, Chesterfield & Barnet win all 3 together with a couple of draws and job done & we live to fight on. Just winning those 3 games may be enough, I hope.

Let’s hope our last great escape, mainly due to loanees who when signed proved a disaster, is used as something to learn from and not repeat.

Sounds easy on paper

But bottom 2 are 9 and 11 points adrift of us respectivley. With us being in touch with a couple above plus teams between us and bottom two.

If we can string a few decent results together we can pull clear. However this is far too bloody close, the team we had this stage last year were far superior

We were pretty good that day. Dembele's through ball and Jones' finish was a good piece of football. Shame we didn't try to do more of this, more often. In fact, I'm not sure we tried to pass it in the final third again until Summerield set up Dembele to score at Port Vale - another good footballing goal. Aside from those two rare lapses into artistry and invention, Slade just had us welly the f**k out of it and hope for the best.
What were we thinking with that passing nonsense eh?!
