GTFC XI: Killip, Mills, Osborne, Clarke (c), Dixon, Wilks, Berrett, Summerfield, Woolford, Vernam, Jackson.

Subs - Warrington, Suliman, Kelly, Hooper, Matt, Hall-Johnson, Vernon.

Think I'd have had DJ (unless he's injured) in ahead of Woolford!

Come on Town, lets end this winless run.

I'm trying my best to be positive, but if you were the in-form team and looked at that group would you be worried about getting 3 more points?
That bench is so bad even Woolford gets a start!

Can only name 5 loan players in a squad, so he's the one to miss out this week along with Kean it seems.

I read it at first and thought it referred to Woolford being on loan but re-read it and can see it refers to DJ being on loan, hence him not being able to be part of today's squad owing to five others already being named

It's not worth all the huffing and puffing, a clued up board would have replaced him long while since. Save your breath.

11 successive  games with no clean sheet. 13 games since we last scored more than 1.

A 1-1 draw would be a welcome miracle right now but only IF we don't concede another. Unlikely.
And only IF we score. Itself a little unlikely.
How depressing.

Played well in patches creepy keeper pulled off a couple of good saves but Crawley had spell where it was saved or kicked of the line in a bit of a scramble, looked a penalty to me but totally accidental if you get my drift Summerfield just slipped and fell accross so their player took advantage and made sure he didnt jump over him. Killip playing well so far which is good to see.

Crawley must be shaking in their boots with Woolford and Kelly attacking them down the wings. lol
Cambridge Manager goes after 6 games without a win. Sladey is on double that now.
The number of games left to play and our games without a win total 25. Now there's a number to remember. 2009 revisited. OMG

It's a repeat of 2010. The board sit on their hands hoping that something will change results wise, even though there is no logical reason why they should.

For over a quarter of a season we have barely scored, let alone won a game.

Slade will take us down. He has to go, and go now if we are to give a new guy half a chance to change things.

But can anyone turn it round with this group of players?

Slade gives Hooper a chance to show what he can do as well

Somehow I don't think he'll turn this game around in our favour

Surely even fenty has to sack him tonight , surely .

Please please do it and let's get a clean slate and move on , forget who's right or wrong and sack him tonight John.

We are facing relegation and that's a bigger threat than who is right or wrong .

One definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Juts like keeping Woods in charge in 2010. Just like keeping Slade now.

Keep Slade in charge and we are going down.

Think this will be his last game, he sounded a broken man after last weeks game & I cannot believe Fenty will continue to back him after this.

Saw Simin Grayson on tv earlier, a bit of a drop for him but would be a good appointment, I think.

He sounded a defeated man weeks go. Means nothing.

...oversized unbalanced squad , so many loan players we cant even fit them all in the matchday squad......

board.... if as you believe RS is the right man for the job....and we are plummeting fast as a result, penalties, sending off's etc seemingly going against us regularly ....could you maybe accept that while RS maybe the right man.....but just in the wrong job ??

Why is JT saying each individual player has done ok??

In commentary we've had chances when he said "we should've done better"
Killip (who to be fair is learning his trade) was beaten from a shot "not in the corner"

Maybe you can be unlucky in one game, but not in to double figures

I've watched the penalty from the clip someone's kindly posted, and it looks like we "give the ref a decision to make" when there were covering players.  Osborne and Summerfield are clumsy at best

Any Management change HAS to be good change, Dave Moore caretaker by 10pm tonight latest (anger3)

Its the same core of players that had us higher in the league.  So whats changed?

Off field discontent? Players not working hard enough?  Managers tactics? So What if slade gets sacked DM doesnt want to take over up steps NW and we end up in the bottom 3 until a new manager is appointed.

but they're not are they ?? Look at the amount of W's in my signature.....there is nothing like enough quality in this squad...end of. We have not dominated a single game all season that i can think of...the most we have managed is the odd 45 mins...here and there.

Pretty much zero pace, zero individual skill, zero power throughout.

Killip couldn't of saved any of the goals today, a well taken peno a shot that was curling away from him and a beautifully chipped shot after his defence left him in no mans land.

Kelly not bad, showed a touch of skill sometimes, but not interested in getting near a tackle, strange plan having him in centre midfield leaving Dixon exposed (lead to 2nd goal) Hooper jogged around a bit. The worst part is though 2nd half we went down with hardly a whimper. Still expect Slades excuse "if they didnt get that dodgy pen andf not scored 2 more goals we would have got a valuable point. We're working hard, its a building project blah blah" bollox

Think it may be too late for another manager  to pick up the pieces now, but what have we got to lose. I think anything will be an improvement on the situation at the moment. Get McCall in even if he'll only do it till the season end.

Absolutely doomed now!
Our Chairman has his head stuck up his own bottom!
Our Manager has dismantled a poor team and turned it into a dreadful team.
Our players are a confused mess.
I have resigned myself to the sad fact that our whole future as a football club has finished.
Our local derbies soon to be North Ferriby or York instead of Scunthorpe Lincoln or Doncaster.
Well done John Fenty with your “let’s kick on” comments.
That really worked well didn’t it!
When you do finally pull your head out of your anus you will see that it is way too late!
So fantastic! Congratulations!

Slade needs to be kicked out now.

Cambridge manager got sacked for far less.

WTF you waiting for Fenty? Slades about as popular as the dogshitt down Harrington St stop playing hopscotch John, even Slade must think he deserves sacking.

We all know we can't afford to sack him' His contract is so good [£138K for 4 years + whatever Wilko's on] that if we paid

him off to his full contract it would be the demise of GTFC. But if he stays the end result is the same. So what do we do.

You might have thought you were doing a good thing by getting him last season J.S.F. but it appears that he took you for

a mug and stitched you up,so it is up to you to come up with a solution to get yourself and US out of this mess. You

must have realised the man is clueless-get him to do the decent thing  OR ELSE THE OUTCOME IS INEVITABLE.
