Says we had more chances than them. Their goal was offside. Talked about getting the 2nd goal in the half-time chat, but didn't work out.
Dodged the fans frustration aspect again. Should have had a pen...blah blah...
Tondeur says he looked the flattest he's seen him in a while. Slade "No I'm not feeling flattest at all" (Confused)

Completely out of ideas again. More of the same next match,,

Well i am certain we cleared at least a couple off the line and "chances" for us were...their defender gifting it to Jackson and Matt blazing one over at the end.
It was a game between two poor sides...one of them who had a clearly structured way of playing..albeit awful to wach.....the other had no clear structured way of playing and were even worse to watch.

Slade misheard him, he thought Tondeur said 'fattest'

Actually, I thought he called it right he can pick all the players and systems going but when your players Dembele blasts one high and wide from a great position and Matt blasts one miles over from in front of goal near the penalty spot with the keeper stranded you can't blame anybody but the players involved.

Thier keeper made a super tip over near the death D.J's fierce shot was definitely dipping under the bar.

Somerfield had is usual solid game but his crossing today was abysmal it as to be said.

No.

We can't sustain any pressure on a team for more than a minute or two. Cheltenham had us pinned back for almost the entire second half. They are not a great side but you can see everyone knows his job. We are just too easy to nullify.

Only a buffoon would trasnfer deal his way to having 2 young, inexperienced strikers playing midfield whilst shipping out Osborne, Clements and Jones.

Blaming the pitch? Was it that bad? Usually we have one of the best pitches in League 2.

It is looking as bad as i have ever seen. There is a large bad patch in front of the Findus. We have had a lot of rain over the winter though, which probably explains it.

Both teams had to play on it.
If it was that bad, nice one Russ putting on Dembelli who is all close control, the pitch really suited his game FFS

Who spotted the clue to his master plan.
When asked about Reece Hall -Johnson being the forgotten man "no not forgotten by us, he has been out on loan,  the whole idea was to get some conference experience"
Ready for next season eh Russell

Great point won, having listened to that. To gain a point when the ref has cost us a win, for the eleventh game on the trot is a massive victory. Barstewards football league - that's eleven cheating/ incompetent  refs in a row that they have allocated us. We'd be pushing for the play offs otherwise..............

The biggest concern is even if we do manage to stay up how do you go about "BUILDING SOMETHING" when you have no foundations?

Most of the playing staff are loanees hardly a blueprint for the future.

Slades biggest fault is he looks out of his depth quick fix loanees is no way to build a squad Russ. The underlining truth is he must think most of the contracted players are not any good.

If I can sense this the same message must be blatantly clear to players such as Clifton etc.
