On the hoardings at the Ron Ramsdens development site. Looks like the tide has well and truly turned now and there is no way back.

I've felt a lot of things at BP. Excitement, boredom, apathy, resignation, nervousness, elation, but I've never felt apprehensive before in all my years. That's what i feel this morning about today's game. If we lose, it could get very ugly and it would also mean we are incapable of beating any of the sides around us and the threat relegation would become more real.

Spelled graffiti wrong too.

The threat of relegation is real very real even winning today doesn’t change much

Damaging other people's property and creating an eyesore is not an acceptable way of achieving the aim.

I’d agree normally but in this case that part of town is so run down it’s probably brightened the place up and tbf it’s only written on temporary fencing

That sounds a bit Fentyist. 'You can't graffiti here because the houses cost more than half a million'. I'd say run down areas of town need even more protection.

Seen it on facebook this morning. It's on temporary hoarding around a building site KM.

I was brought up in park street so trust me when I say I have a real affinity for that area and a little bit of graffiti won’t annoy anyone

To be fair Dapperz. If it’s spelled correctly it wasn’t by someone from Park Street  ;) :P

I was brought up "off Park Street", which is probably why i spelled graffiti- grafitti.  :)

He wants out anyway.

We just need a new credible investor to turn up and he will be gone.

Heaping personal abuse on a person that has already said he wants out seems a little counter productive to me. Just makes it seem even more of a poisoned chalice.

Yes, very important game, 3 points and we should have a chance but nil pois I fear relegation is likely. Forget about the protests, try to erase the past 2 months from memory and get behind those wearing the 3 Fish. UTM.

Does he want out more than he wants all of his money back? Personally, I don't think so. If he really wanted out, he'd accept that he's made a mess of running the club and that the two million or so he's put in as loans pales into insignificance when you think of the amount he's cost the club through mismanagement. If he really wanted out, he'd say this is the amount that it'll take to clear my debts and buy my shares provided you can show you have the funds available to run the club.

As it is he keeps putting out vague statements about how the loans won't stand in the way, knowing full well that they have stood in the way of others for 15 years.

I don't condone graffiti but saying you want out and then actually doing it are two different things. If somebody did come along i imagine he would make the terms so difficult it would be the end of that.

I guess he will hang on if he can and hope football fortune saves him , so keep the pressure on. If it was my decision I would get the Trust to resign from the board and actively look for new investors as well.

Maybe I am wrong, and maybe its wishful thinking on my part, but I thought the comment about the loans not being a barrier meant he was not looking to recoup them from a potential new owner.  I hope so because I can't see anyone wanting to pay his 2 million for his loans.

I guess we won't know until the white knight shows up. I hope it's soon though because we are spiralling back down into the abyss and I think only new ownership can turn it around.

If he wants out why hasn't he appointed a Chairman, to me it seems he likes calling the shots. Otherwise he would say to buy me out costs £3 million for benign loan and shares..

The hobourable thing is to turn his benign loans into shares and give them to the trust.

Are you saying you're used to it or are you saying you're OK with someone pissing on your doorstep?

For context, it is sprayed on a piece of OSB board that is part of a temporary fence on a building site, which, when completed, will help regenerate that area. I'm not condoning it, but it's not a permanent structure.

I know that Ginny. Just making the point that once you accept one bit of graffiti, you accept lower standards. There's no reason why we can't have hoarding that looks half decent. Imagine if it was on a bit of hoarding down Humberstone Avenue. Same with things like litter and dogshit. Why should poor people live in a messy area.

Sorry to shatter your illusions KM, but in the main, it's the people that live around there that are responsible for the litter and dogsh1t.

Not completely true Ginny, allegedly some twit in an Aston Martin has done a dirty protest all over BP.

Possibly true but it's no reason for the innocent to be left to wallow in it.

If we want to lift the town up, best start with the saddest areas. Zero tolerance.
