Now that seems to be a good signing and a much needed centre back. Welcome Easah.

Slade you're a excrement manager but credit where it's due, an excellent signing.

Very highly thought of at Villa Park so a real coup. Was linked to two League One clubs earlier in the transfer window, one was Walsall. Looking at what you already have at the back this signing is excellent.

According to Cheltenhan fans he was "woeful" and "nowhere near ready for mens football". Let's hope he's improved since then.

You can just see us snatching a win on Saturday, only to be deducated 3 points for fielding too many loanees

This guy was England u19 captain that won the world cup, and scored the winner in the final

He's got an excellent pedigree. We don't get many players that have captained England in any age group. Welcome aboard.

Could be a useful addition. At least it injects some youthfulness to our backline. Hopefully he will see some action and not just rot on the bench..

Well if we cant score may as well try to stop the opposition. 15 0-0's might just see us to safety........

Hope his secondary position is striker. Just, you know, in case...

Slade probably thinks he's signed another striker.

I don't know why we didn't (or maybe we have) try to get Connor Townsend in on loan as I think he is falling down the pecking order at Scunthorpe. The Scunny manager wasn't overly enthusiastic about him when asked on Radio Humberside on Saturday.

Good signing. A midfielder of a similar ilk before the deadline closes would be nice.

I do hope these loan deals extend to cover the play-offs(smash)(smash)

Giving himself a right self inflicted headache.....Kean wont get back on the bench as injured so easy one to drop....Centre Back must come in so maximum four places left......after Tues the only names that stood out in commentary as playing anything like were DJ and Matt...does he drop one of them to fit in the three new strikers ?
Or do season long loans not actually count ?

Looking at this I think season long loans do count towards the 5

Simeon the striker

So our options for the rest of the season in centre midfield are Summerfield and Berrett, and whilst Rose is suspended, that's it. Woolford would be back up. The notion that anyone would deliberately manage their way to this conclusion tells you all you need to know.

McAllister & Clifton are centre Mid. Need someone with a creative thought in there somewhere

As if he'll give them a chance!

Shame nothing else came of Arnold, he could of been what is missing in midfield, albeit a wide role.
