If we do get him on loan till end of season I will go to match tomorrow.

Two new forwards shows a bit of intent. Along with the change of formation last week will tempt me back (for now).

Had a quick peak at the Luton site and they seem to be as fickle as ever. Less than 1000 expected.  They quote the main reason as Grimsby being a sh#thole.  Pot, Kettle springs to mind.

Still far from convinced by the current regime.  But I guess I will give the lads a chance.

You proved me right when I stayed away Russ. Prove me right to be coming back. UTM

Don't believe Luton have ever really brought a decent following, always use the Sh@thole excuse.

I think that panic attacks probably set in for them once they get north of Watford Gap. If the whole "I'm not going to watch a match there because it's a shithole" thing was real, they'd never see a home game!

Walked home from the dentists on Monday, which is at Freshney Green, to my house in Old Clee. Down Bargate, Abbey Road, through Peoples Park, Weelsby Road, King George, past Old Clee Church, and a sh1thole it isn't. Bit rough here and there but so are most towns.

Yesterday i walked from home to the Fitties and back along the sea front and it's most agreeable. The reason i mention this is because i was thinking along the way about how most visiting fans to GY label it a sh1thole, when it is anything but. The ground unfortunately isn't in the most salubrious spot, and the route into it is, shall we say, not the best. Luton, on the other hand....

Anyway, welcome back into the fold Civvy. Hard to stay away isn't it?

I never get the whole "I'm not going cos that town/city is a shithole" reason for not going away.

You're going to a football stadium to watch your team, not an open top bus tour of the f@cking town.

a very small bit of intent, he's a 19 year old loanee with limited experience that couldn't nail a starting spot at Accrington Stanley. I hope he does well and I would've attended regardless, but it's hardly hairs on the back of the neck stuff.

Before anyone gets uppity, this is no slight on the lad who is by all accounts a promising youngster and I look forward to seeing him play.

Absolutely, it's bizarre that people feel like that. I like grounds that are in amongst the houses and out of town grounds are soulless.

Having said that, I have never seen more dogshit on the streets anywhere than I have around Blundell Park. What is that about? I have never encountered that in other places on such a grand scale.

It's on the dog walking route to the beach, and most dog owners are lazy fookers. The stretch from Fuller Street Bridge to Wonderland is even worse. Scruffy twits.

Some super finishing there. All of those shots were clinical, to great areas of the goal, and he got himself into some great positions in the box on three of them.

Looks like a good prospect that just needs the opportunity to get more senior game time.

Looks as if he's got a good left peg and movement around the box,
so DON'T LET SLADE NEAR HIM before Saturday's match.
