My grandson does not want to go to Grimsby Town home games anymore.
Therefore I have a Junior season for sale. It is for the Young's Upper Stand.
There are 8 home games left.
Looking for £20.
PM if interested.

Seems a familiar tale and when we lose the juniors it is all the more to worry. I was a junior when I first went to BP but it has resulted in 50 years ‘service’ to date.
The younger element have much more to occupy their lives these days but the club need this age group more than any. Let’s hope something can change to re ignite the spark.

When I first went - It was Buckley's second season. We playing beautiful football and Blundell Park was packed. I caught the bug. How on earth is any kid going to enjoy the atmosphere and football at the moment?

Hang on to it! You get a seat next to you empty for the rest of the season, and he might change his mind when things pick up, which I for one think they will.  UTM

Hang on to it until after the Colchester game, when someone may enhance your offer with "Buy one get one free".

I don't think the club realises that they need to compete with telly, video games, etc for young fans' attention these days. we can't just presume they'll want to stand and watch Town but what are we doing to say to kids that this is worth their money and time?

When many of us first went to a game there were only 3 TV channels and Town were on MOTD and Sportsnight!

Thanks Russell, that's what we are all hoping for.

Same here, my daughter has decided that she's not going until the football gets better. Her words not mine and she's 7!  She enjoys away days as it's day out but if I drag her to BP again she's threatened to call childline. Can't say I blame her tbh.

Such a sad statement that is, goes to show how out of touch the club is with its fans when a young lad won't got to the football with his Granparent, because its thats excrement.

My 12 yr old granddaughter who has been a season ticket holder since the age of 4 declared that football is extinct at Blundell Park and its Slade who’s killed it. Sad that the club is losing this generation of fans.
