Post-pub thought for the day: bring back British Restaurants.

Food Banks are a good idea but they could be expanded to have their own kitchens run by volunteers to help families on low income have very inexpensive nutritionally balanced meals out, at the same time as using up perishables from supermarkets. Fast food is cheap but mostly unhealthy.

Alternatively, pay people proper living wages and do away with zero hour contracts
