It's called PR ask yourself what the club knows about PR and you have your answer.

That ITK Yorkie account is a balderdash rumours account (even if it does get some right).

And the Tombola one can also be forgiven, seeing as Sutton haven’t announced it either!

Makes you wonder why Tom was desperate to stay though. I guess there are a lot of reasons.

That second one's a run of the mill rumour page isn't it? I can see why the club don't comment on stuff like that.

But yeah, the first one's the Sutton manager! So cheers gtfc for not bothering telling us that a player's left for the season!

No, they'll wait until RH post it.

We're just the paying customers. Best just let the club get on with the smooth day to day running of everything.  :-/

Frankly, Sutton's manager telling the world he's keeping our player just shows our level of professionalism. Surprised anybody? Thought not.

Just re-read that one from Sutton and he says "at least until the end of the season", implying to me that it will be made permanent in the summer. Think that's the last we will see of him and the first in a needed cull IMO.

Not hard to see why players are not happy playing crap football systems that Slade sends them out to play.. He is outdated and well past his sell by date ,, everyone can see that except Slade , and prob Fenty, Iwouldnt want to play that way, and am god sure now that i am not going to pay to watch it untill it changes

It's the Fans Forum all over again. Fenty in the boardroom with the rest of the Board, scanning the Fishy posts and sees TomBola gone for the season, leans back and looks at Paul Day...

"I didn’t know about this.”

Because they can only announce once things are made official?

Bored loser on twitter making up rumours=not official.

Said it before, vent frustrations at the club when it’s worth it and needed, otherwise the important things lose impetus.

I'll leave you to tell Sutton's manager that he's a bored loser.

The deal was obviously done yesterday at least because the Sutton manager tweeted at 7.30 last night. It's not a huge thing and personally i'm not bothered he's gone because i think we need better players than him if we want to get anywhere, but it wouldn't have hurt just to let us know, seeing as they have had the time to do so. Small things....

Yeah, thought you were but i was just making a general point about the lack of info on Tom. Wouldn't surprise me if Cardwell was to be sent out as well, especially if we are looking to bring in another striker.

We do our PR on the pitch.

Which is just as well if you consider how unprofessional our PR department is.

That could've just been a telephone conversation with it being agreed to. Maybe our Club are waiting until it is signed and confirmed before making an official announcement. Their boss announcing it on his Twitter is hardly pro club kind of stuff is it.

JF has just emailed the Sutton manager asking if he’d like to compere the next fans Forum as Matt Dean is unavailable ...

You're maybe correct but such is the poor communication that we just automatically assume the club is at fault, and that is down to their previous ramblings. What do the customers of iplayer pay for, if not info? You say it's hardly pro kind of stuff from Sutton......

Anyway, no matter. I'm more interested in who's coming in because Tombola was clearly not good enough and has gone back to his level. I don't expect he'll play for us again.

And our squad gets ever-slower.

We could well see Bolarinwa back at BP again next season, even if he stays at Sutton...

Pity, rather we sent Vernon, Hooper, Woolford or Kelly and brought Tom back

Tom has made 17 starts for us in his time here. At the end of the season, he will have a year left on his contract and i will be surprised if he comes back. Nothing against him, he's a trier, but it takes more than pace and effort to be a good footballer. Think successive managers have not seen enough in him.

I think plenty of fans have not seen enough in a few of our players but Slade keeps picking them. Some if not all the players out on loan may not be good enough but I would rather see some of them in the team rather than the crap Slade keeps persisting with.

So, if the players out on loan are not good enough, why use them to replace the "crap" ones in the team. Isn't that just shuffling the deckchairs, replacing poor players with equally poor players?

I said they may not be good enough, it would have been nice to see some of them given a run in the side like Woolford has been.

TB Last played a full game I think at Scunthorpe and played well that night, he would certainly give full backs a problem with his pace but currently right full backs have never had it so easy when Woolford is picked.
