We're well on top without having to try, this is what it must of been like for everyone who played town the last 6 or 7 games. We need an other goal though before Slade cocks it up with his 2nd half subs.

Playing well, mix of football and hoof when needed  :) should be further ahead, always worried when we're not 3 ahead with Akinde-Pen on the field. ??)

I think that was more because we became lethargic after the red and the defender they brought on was quicker then the last one.

We played well considering we never looked like we had to go full ball, Barnet looked like we did over the last few weeks, Demebele, DJ and Summerfield all stand out performers, Jones needs to start thinking quicker and pass the ball earlier would be my only complaint. I'm glad Slades been forced to put out this team through supsencions and injuries, we've actually been attacking its a nice change of pace.

Easiest win I've seen for a while!

Basically - Russell has seen the light and is finally playing Matt with Jones.

This I applaud and the rest of the team is mainly in place - although in midfield, Summerfield is definitely the holding player in front of the back four and Dembele should have the free reign to get up with the front two.

Even though Davies is not  a natural left back - he showed enough to me last Saturday to prove he can fill this - and Mills / Davies  are the best we have in these positions.

So in there somewhere, there are a couple of players in midfield / wing that Russell needs to integrate - Norwich loanee may almost have helped in this temporarily.  

Otherwise, 2 wins in 4 days is very welcome.

That turn for the goal by Dembele was rude.  That poor Barnet lad's been mugged.

A good solid away win.

The biggest shock for me is that, against Barnet, we haven't conceded a penalty to Akinde-pen.  

Not sure if this has been mentioned but we now have the 4th best away record in the division 👍

In his post match interview RS mentioned some personal issues Matt has had. I got the impression the decision to play both together has been taken out of his hands. We've got a difficult Xmas but if we can stay in touch with the play offs until January then who knows.

The Jamille Matt news goes a long way to explain why he was out of sorts. That's the sort of thing which affects anyone doing their job.

And just to think, a week ago someone on here posted that Matt was 'stealing a living'. Glad to hear things are improving for him on all fronts.

Not just because we won, which is fantastic, but because it might just put aside all of the recent negativity that there has been on this site.
An added bonus is that we can now go for almost 2 weeks before the benefits of the last 5 days can be eroded.
Enjoy...... we might have put aside all thoughts of relegation and make the top 3 our target. From RS comments, he might have found a way of creating a smaller squad with spaces to recruit better in January.

Looking back on the last 2 games and how well we have played with this formation, just imagine where we would have been if we had played like this from the word go

My feelings entirel his y. Instead he put faith in Woolford,Vernon and Dixon.

Slade has seen the light thanks to the Fishy and injuries and suspensions.

Thought the lad was a bit unlucky to get more than a yellow.....but hey ho.....we got plenty of dodgy sending's off at the start of the season.

Oh I don't know, the way he scythed Siriki down.

Sending off was for both feet being off the ground and studs showing, totally deserved a red card IMO.

It's the only way teams are going to stop "Silky" he just loves his job beating players hope he stays injury free.
