Nobody is right yet! It's not some stupid date from the 19th century either!

I'm going for 1980-1 when we returned to the second division. We had five in our opening fifteen games as we struggled early on with just two wins and six defeats in those fifteen games. To think we only just missed out on three successive promotions by a gnat's member hair was due to an amzing run when we won thirteen, drew five and lost just two of the enxt twenty games. Couldn't keep the momentum going though and a hotly disputed 1-0 defeat at Terry Venables' QPR basically did for us.
Anyway, seven 0-0 draws during the campaign in total.

I think it's 8 0-0 draws. There's been a couple of seasons with 7

We didn't have a single 0-0 draw in 1958-9 or 1970-1.

Our first season back in Division 2 in 1962-3 we once had 5 goalless draws in just seven games vs Huddersfield, Preston, Derby, Rotherham and Norwich, the last three of which were successive games.

I take it everyone has given up. The answer was 1997-1998, supposedly our greatest ever season!! All these matches were 0-0
Grimsby Wrexham 23/08/1997
Grimsby York 09/09/1997
Walsall Grimsby 04/11/1997
Grimsby Wycombe 02/12/1997
York Grimsby 26/12/1997
Grimsby Chesterfield 03/03/1998
Wrexham Grimsby 31/03/1998
Grimsby Gillingham 04/04/1998
Watford Grimsby 25/04/1998
We had only 4 0-0 draws last season. 3 So far this one.

Makes sense, we did keep about 307 clean sheets that season!
