Not even on the bench tonight for Cardiff. Poor lad can't be very happy.

Surely worth a cheeky bid in the next transfer window to get him back here on loan until the end of the season if the situation is still the same.

Why not him and Dermbele could be the dynamic duo I would love to see that. ;)

Mind you would rather settle for a decent defender at the moment.

Never happen unfortunately, too many clubs would be ahead of us in the queue if he did become available for loan.

That ship has sailed.

Can't help but think something strange as gone on here Cardiff pay good money for unproven ( at this level ) and then freeze him out and should they get promoted can you really see him playing in the premiershite

Warnock knows a striker , he’s based his career on signing them to get his sides promoted. Omar Bogle is a work in progress, let’s not forget he’s moved up 2 leagues in 12 months and will need development. He’ll get his chance at Cardiff and pretty sure he’ll take it when it comes along . He should’ve been playing at that level ages ago but probably his attitude cost him that and why he’s had to do it the hard way . I don’t think he’ll throw that chance away again. If he does he’s a tosser. Can’t see him coming back tbh

I don't think he should have been playing at that level years ago. He's good but I don't think he's top end of championship good, with some proper coaching and guidance then who knows.

Nature of the beast and I do feel for him. When he left us for Wigan he looked made up and thought he was going on to bigger and better and probably would have never imagined him being released soon after

Cardiffs bench is strong, it's no guarantee he'd make it onto there. I doubt warnock has frozen him out or has turned against him, he just needs to bide his time.

I don't think he is quite so good as everyone thinks.  A bit like Nathan Arnold - a world beater on his day.  Omar had a very good run for us last season and personally I think we did the right thing to sell him.  He will find his level as a L1 player, maybe L2.

Last night against Birmingham Cardiff could have done with Bogle-their attack was woeful and didn't muster a single shot on target the whole game

I was thinking that too. Considering they're top of The Championship, they were very poor.

He may have been the big cheese here, but at Cardiff he is just a squad player. I suspect they will be working on his game and he is still learning. I doubt he is frozen out, just not at the front of the queue yet.

I was thinking the same. I thought Cardiff were pretty poor.

Regarding Bogle - I think he stepped up too far in going to the championship and his next logical step was to do it in L1. He'd be much better off playing regularly for Portsmouth, or Bristol Roves for example - getting regular game time and learning the ropes. Personally didn't think he was ready for Championship level but hey, the bids come in from whoever and we did what we had to do. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him pop up in L1 in January. Maybe Shrewsbury.

Neil Warnock collects strikers like green shield stamps....always has plenty in his squad, part of me thinks to monopolise them in the division he is operating in so the opposition cant have them..a regular playing Bogle in another Championship side could be a threat to his own agenda with Cardiff.
Having said that i dont think Bogle is at that level and thats more likely why he isnt playing, they are top end Championship so there isnt room to play a developing striker hoping he gets upto speed and starts scoring within 5-10 games, that could cost them maybe 20 points in the process...which aint gonna happen with a team that is aiming for the Holy Grail of the Premier League.

For once i think MB called it right when he said he would be better developing for another season or so before making the step up.

I think their start to the season has surprised even Warnock. Looking at their squad though, they look pretty low on strikers so it's a bit of a surprise that he's not even making the bench.

I agree with Chaos though about League 1; I don't know what happened at Wigan but I thought a full season there was going to be great for him.

Omar needs to be the main man to play to his strengths

He is not good enough to be the main man in the championship,

So I expect to see him go out on loan to a L1 team in the new year/

Yeah did the same at Sheff Utd took Steve Kabba from us and he duly scored against us on a night cup game at Blundell Park.

The racist and rent boy taunts Kabba got from behind the Pontoon was disgusting that night the worst I have heard for years no wonder he reacted like he did when he stuck one in at the Pontoon end.

Credit to Warnock though he was furious with him for reacting in such a manner and subbed him straight away.

When he left I thought it was a season too soon. When Wigan got relegated I thought it was probably his best chance for his development and to shine. The jump to Championship football looked a bit too much at the time to me for where he was at as a player.

Wigan's manager pretty publicly said that he didn't fit in his plans and there was also a tendency for Omar to play for Omar.

Fair enough. They seem to be doing alright without him, to be fair.

Trouble is today the players have agents that don't see the big picture most are just after their ten penneth if that calls for fast tracking players the y give a toss if it fails just move on to the next potential cash cow.

Really hope Omar can break into their team. Would be a huge shame if he ends up back in league 2 having not made a go of it. A bit like Green going back to Mansfield from BirmjnghM. He’s naturally gifted just can’t help but think he’s made 2 bad moves, Wigan were doomed and now he’s at Cardiff where he’ll never get a sniff until they sell Zahore.
