Okay, it seems like we have enough interest to carry on with this. I have taken the suggestion re the international break week into mind and looking at forthcoming fixtures, it seems that there will only be one international break until March, which will be the weekend of the 12th of November so what I will do is start the new game the following weekend, with games starting Friday 18th of November the first to count. This will give us plenty of time to get as many entries in as we can and also all teams should have a scheduled fixture every week during the course of the competition. The only exception I can see to this is if a Premier League or Championship team are knocked out of the FA Cup in the 3rd Round (if the competition is still running then) as 4th Round FA Cup day is a free fixture date for Premier and Championship teams.

Obviously though we are coming to the time of year when there are going to be games postponed/abandoned so in this case the default 2 goals rule will still apply if a team does not play in that particular weekend. Also maybe the time with Christmas coming up to re-itterate that rule that the competition applies to games played from the Friday to the Monday and if a team plays twice in this period it is only the first game that counts.

Exactly the same rules apply, you must score exactly 21 goals to win the first prize. Go over 21 and you are Bust and out of the game. There will also be prizes for the lowest scoring team when the first prize is won and also for the first team to score nil on three successive weekends. There may also be a 4th prize depending on the amount of entries we get.

There were 60 entries last time, a total of £600. 25% (£150) was donated to Graham's fund and the other £450 was paid out in prizes. I usually donate 25% of what I take to The Mariners Trust, although on occasions, with The Trust's blessing, I have donated to other worthy GTFC related causes. At the mimute, for this game, I will donate the 25% to The Mariners Trust, unless another worthy GTFC related cause is brought to my attention.
