Fair enough. Would've been very harsh to drop anyone after last week..

3 strikers on the bench seems a lot. Would have preferred East as cover for full back and wide positions. Is he not fit?

On the beers in eastleigh last week, stocktake at work this week!

Think the same seems daft having 3 strikers

We can bring Pearson on and push Toto wide, and plenty of our forward options can play wide mid, so can't see a problem
Great depth though as previously said

Poor old Hurst he gets called too defensive,

He goes with 3 strikers on the bench and some are saying he should have a full back there,

He can not win can he ?  :)

Think I would have Marshall on the bench to give us some width, if necessary. Better than 3 striker options. Maybe Pitman is seen as providing this. Anyway, you would think with 5 strikers in this set up - there's a flood of goals to come ;)

Pretty turgid stuff so far.  Too many long balls.  We need to get the ball down and play, when we do we sound much more dangerous.

I'm feeling nervous.  I hate these games we should win and then somehow don't.  Over the last two years whenever we have got within touching distance of the top, we slip on a banana skin and miss the chance.

Fingers crossed for 3 points

The wind should be no excuse against Kiddy, get it on the deck, go to the byline and fizz low crosses through the 6 yard box (I know easier said than done) but were not gonna be winning high crosses with our front 2

It's strange how we have these games against bottom clubs especially at home a couple of times a season. Another 45 to go, Pompy scored 6 in the second half last week so why can't we? Or is this wishful thinking?

To be honest - and from the BBC football stats on shots so far - you don't get the impression that anyone is going to score - and so it looks like a point at most - with ironically 5 strikers waiting to pounce 8)

Town had most of the possession Diss won loads today and had a good game he bossed midfield today clay also did well. they parked the bus and we found it difficult to break down.

Great goal by Podge and for once lady luck shined on us their only effort on goal resulted in a shot beating Macca only to rebound off the post straight back into Macca's arms.

Not pretty but I will take that any day look at Lincolns result.

Like the song says "How we get there I don't know how we do it I don't care all I know is Grimsby's on its way."

Awful weather conditions spoilt a game that was we`ll defend and you try and score if you can (we did)

Dis was my MOM even though Amond scored a very good goal that sealed their fate, they came for a point which was obvious and once the goal went in there was only one result, they had the misfortune of the ball hitting the inside of the post and rebounding to our keeper,  but in all fairness that was their only moment of hope and Macca spent a lot of his time sprinting to the bi line fielding the ball just to keep warm.

Jones today was industrious but ineffective, Podge worked his socks off as did Arnold,  Gowling was Gowling always in charge and the new lad looked OK for the short time he was on, Omar tried his best to score a goal when a pass to a team mate would have been the better option, but thats his style and why he scores so many goals
