According to this morning's paper, Youngs are in a battle to save their £100m contract with Sainsbury's to supply the fish for their own label products. Up to 600 jobs could be lost if they lose the contract it says.

No doubt this will affect any future sponsorship of the club if this were to happen.

Let's hope for the state of the local economy and employment first and foremost, that they can retain the contract.

Club sponsorship is of secondary concern if 600 people lose their jobs.

Let's hope for all concerned they retain the contract.

I didnt know Youngs supplied Sainsburys Fresh fish but have to say their fish is the worst out of the major supermarkets!

Sincerley hope for all the people employed locally that they retainn the contract

Dont really understand why anyone who lives in Grimsby would buy fish from a supermarket, most of it I've seen in them is only fit for animals  :-/
