Nathan Arnold signs for #GTFC!

Although it could be Gainsborough Trinity...

I did mention that my "fairly reliable source" had told me yesterday that Arnold would be the next player to sign on, in the "Player Leaving" thread.

I thought he'd be one of the last to sign. Leaving it short. Cambridge needed to trim their wage bill luckily.

Good news if true.

I will try and rescue my (non existent) season ticket from the fire I chucked it in this morning.

We have almost got enough players for a 5 aside training match - 4 senior pros v 3 just signed yoofs.

I've heard PH is gonna play 0-1-1-1 next season.  Macca in goal, no defence, Disley in charge of centre midfield, Arnold in 'the hole' and JPP upfront.  L2 here we come!

Its alright signing Strikers and Midfielders, but it still leaves us "Short at the back"!  ;)

We should play him behind the strikers, "A Little Off The Top"!

"Buzz" that he's signed, "dread" that he wouldn't,hope he "bangs" a few in and we can give him an "extension" on his contract, as long as he keeps it high and tight he'll do well.  I'll get my coat.

It has not been officially announced but it says on the OS that they will be announcing another signing soon. Which I suspect will be in the morning.  Pretty sure it will be Arnold from what people have told me.

Apparently he is dyeing to sign a contract.
Sorry, was that too dry for you?
We need to write a contract that has him by the short and curlers.
That would have him bang to rights.
Let's hope he's not parting.
I dread the thought of him leaving, he's so fine.
You know his favourite NZ band is Split Enz, right?

There's an interesting article in the Non-League Paper this week, it states Nathan Arnold was the most effective playing going forward out of all the players in the entire league for the 2014-15 season.

I haven't got a copy, just had a quick nosey while in Sainsburys, but I think it was based on computer stats of all players, positioning over 90 minutes per game, number of assists, goals etc.

Worth a read anyway, full page story on it.
