We may feel that the play-off Gods are against us but Preston go into their Play-Off Final with Swindon today having lost in their previous NINE play-off attempts.

All playoff ties (Championship to Conference - 10 so far) have been won by the side that finished higher.

That hunch is looking good at half-time Chris!

Really good first half performance from Norwich. Got to keep that performance level though - and the concentration levels too!

2 goals killed off the game in 15 mins! Pretty shite game to be fair.

Re above: very nearly (twice) have all play-off final matches this season been won by the team who finished highest in the league.
(A pattern which Norwich also followed today, before over 85,000 fans).
Wycombe finished above Southend on goal-difference (84 points). So it could not be any closer. Neither could the game whereby Wycombe were winning until the 122nd minute, and thus continuing the pattern. Wycombe then lost on penalties - again by the smallest of margins.

Ah yes, so they did! (I must've been thrown by Southend being in 3rd going into the last day)
Good job I was wrong really, because I put Southend on my acca!
