I would imagine the players are pretty oblivious to a legal argument over a contract signed by the board.  Do you think our players are waking up this morning thinking ..
"c'mon guys if we can win today it will help attract a developer to back up a stadium outline planning permission request for a stadium none of us will play in as it will take 5 yrs at least to come to fruition" ...... nah.
