Will be travelling from Nottingham, thanks to an ill-timed 40th birthday. Probably complete with monster hangovers.....

Any who, would like to park up at a tube station and travel in. Any advise on the best one to go for? Must have decent parking that is fairly secure.

Always tend to use Cannons park when driving as Stanmore can get very busy and harder to get out of. Both have decent sized car parks

Stanmore holds 450 vehicles and is £2 all day parking on a Sunday the key is get there early and park near the entrance as possible if you park further back it's as others have said a nightmare to get out.

Personally don't think it is from the A1 but also Cockfosters is on Picadilly line so much longer tube journey

Cockfosters is a piece of urine to get to but the tube journey to wembley is epic...

And half of Cockfosters car park is a building site, you're lucky if you can get in it at a weekend. I had to park in the posh housing estate and walk a good ten minutes the other week.

Only trouble with Cockfosters if Arsenal at home.

"Best tube station with secure car park" sounds like a category at the public transport industry awards.
