Rain is due to stop midday and the surface should be
made for playing the ball quickly on the deck.

Hursty would have booked these conditions and has
only to tell the lads to keep the ball down.

Perfick !

No problems conditions due to improve this afternoon just what the hard surface wanted should be perfect for on the floor play bit blowy but not bad. Typical temps for here bring it on lets make a deafening racket and show Eastleigh what a real traditional footy ground sounds like.

Checked on here at 1100 hrs before setting off for last postponed game a few months ago.  All  the indicators then were "game on".   Got to Grimsby and "game off", waterlogged pitch.

We do not want a repeat of this today.

Anyway seriously, it stopped raining here about an hour ago ( Suffolk )

So the way the band of rain is moving,

If it has not already stopped in Cleethorpes,

It will within  the next hour,

That gives 2 hours for the ground staff to do their work.

No more rain until after the game.

Thanks Pete, but I prefer Keely Donavan to tell me the weather !
