I am amazed that the awards were held last night.

Why aren't they held after the play offs.  There has been an expectation all season of making the play offs and it's been nailed on certainty for several weeks.

Surely it isn't ideal preparation for the players three nights before a crucial game and having the awards when there are 3 (hopefully) games to go is like those fans who leave the ground after 89 mins.

I think it could be an advantage and may have given the players a massive boost, seeing how many fans turned up and I've never heard a chant of 'Mariners' before at POTY like last night. Orphan Boy also put on a good gig, a good night all round and well done to Terry Hall for his 'fan of the year' award, fully deserved. UTM
