Eastleigh's trust on twitter has said that the rumour going around is that we will be given 1000 tickets (which sounds about right). Despite it being a treck and it will be difficult to get the time off work, I really hope everyone can get behind the lads and sell the 1000 tickets. The players and the management have stated how much of a difference we can make and I believe this again will be the case going into the vital first leg on Thursday.

One final big push is needed from the fans to get us back where we belong. Come on Town, UTM.

I would love to be wrong but doubt we will take 1000 for a midweek game which involves 500 round trip with the game on TV.

Having said that I am mad enough to go

Town fans have shocked me enough times on the road this season with some of our away followings. One last big shock by our fans at our last away game in non league (with Wembley being a neutral venue). I personally think it will be around 700 but I really hope I am proved wrong and we take 1000.

I have been pre empting an Eastleigh visit so have been speaking to customers down south  to see if any of them may need anything Wed/Thur next week....so far the selfish tw@ts dont. (anger3)

A day off and pay for my own transport.....vs TV .....

With all I've got on at the mo. I cannot spend all of one day travelling to and from Eastleigh. 12 hours on the bus nearly killed me last time! Although not being there might have the same effect!...

Lucky enough to be on holiday from work this week, and really fancy going bit it is one hell of a trek down there and back. Still weighing it up. TV might sadly be the winner but the urge is strong.

Sod the TV if you can get there, be there! One hell of a journey but if work or finances are not a problem then one last push from the excellent away support is required. Could be one of those games you wished you'd been there!!

I presume we'll have to get them sent expressly or perhaps they'll take our tickets to the Eastleigh ticket office and we can pick them up on the day?

I appreciate making it all ticket makes it difficult for some but I think it's quite a sensible move. Eastleigh know we travel in numbers and don't want a shambles on Thursday night with pay on the gate.

I'm not suggesting for a minute we will take Alfreton like numbers but ta never can second guess town fans...

My son (GollyGTFC) phoned up at 9 o'clock exactly and after 4 or 5 times engaged got through and bought 2 tickets (1 adult & 1 concession- OAP is 60+). Eastleigh are only selling seat tickets. Saved us a 130 mile plus round trip to Blundell Park to buy tickets. UTM.

Just got off the phone to Eastleigh's ticket office (and very pleasant they were too). Unfortunately they're only selling tickets for the seated section. All standing tickets have been sent to BP, according to them. If you want a seated ticket and live away from town then you need give them a call as they anticipate to sell their allocation for us (didn't say what it is) fairly soon.

I would imagine everyone will be going through the same turnstyles and will then have to show their ticket to access the seating area. Can't imagine there will be 2 sets of turnstyles, 2 sets of toilets, 2 sets of catering facilities etc...

Maybe someone who went back in January might have an idea about the ground layout?

Didn't think I was going to get to this one, but I've had two separate lift offers from acquaintances considerably less fanatical about town than myself. Based on this anecdotal evidence we're going to pack the away end 8)

Of course, those offers would come the day after I phoned up Virgin and spent fifteen quid adding BT Sport to my TV package!

I actually think we'll sell at least 850 tickets, wouldn't completely surprise me if we sold out either. I'm sure any Town fan in the South East (got to be at least 300 surely?) will do their utmost to get there and we shouldn't underestimate Town's travelling support.

For anybody who didn't go to the league game and are driving, the ground is in the middle of nowhere down unlit single track roads. And they are not geared up at all for dealing with a decent turnout. My advice is don't park in there car park but go past and park in an industrial yard on the right, as it would take an age to get out after the game.

Eastleigh have sold 200 to Town fans according to a tweet from someone who works for them. So I am guessing it's 200 sold each by GTFC & EFC making it approx 400 on the first day.

I believe the clubs in the play offs do not directly receive any tv income from any of the games. All tv revenue goes to the league which is ultimately shared between all the clubs in the league. Not sure though how the league divide the payments to each club

500 is good for a Thursday night, at five days notice, for a ground 250 miles from BP. It's quality and not quantity that matters anyway - those 500 will sound like 5000.

Don't blame people for not travelling. Maybe they got the allocations the wrong way round between home-based and exiled supporters. There's probably quite a few who would have liked to be able to turn up and pay on the gate.

Would have preferred to stand too but I guess they assumed us southern based Mariners were too posh to stand.  :)
