I had a bit of time on my hands last night so thought I'd look at the mileage stats for away games in this seasons league.
The list below shows the total distance traveled TO games by each team. Obviously for total mileage covered you need to double it. I have taken the stats from the suggested route on Google Maps (not always the shortest or best route, but it gives you some idea) from ground to ground. For fan mileage this is obviously only applicable for fans traveling from the Grimsby area.
The list below shows the teams in order of mileage covered. The first figure is the total traveled TO each game, the 2nd figure is the average miles to each game and the figure in brackets is the number of games within 100 miles. So if you have been to every Grimsby away league game this season you will have traveled the best part of 8000 miles!!
Probably just a load of nonsense to most people but if you're interested in attendance stats then I hope you find the list interesting.

If you combine this table with the table you posted earlier in the week showing the average away followings it shows the total miles travelled by the average number of fans from each club. And I thought being out in a limb here on the East coast our fans would have travelled the most combined but no Rovers win that one, so far play to them. I have only worked out 3 and they are as follows:
Bristol Rovers 5,813,808
Town 4,880,668
Braintree 247,170
