The Bayern Munich club doctor has just resigned after being in post since 1977.  He is still the German national term football doctor.  He also treated top athletes like Usain Bolt.  3 other club officials have also walked out since the Porto defeat.

5 top players missed the 3-1 defeat at Porto (Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, David Alaba, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez).   Guardiola is reported to be unhappy with the standard of medical treartment of his players. He has suggested that some injured players go to Spain for the best treatment.

The medical staff were directly or indirectly blamed for the Porto defeat by the club/Guardiola. (Presumably, for not getting injured players back quickly enough, or for them getting injured in the first place).

So, is there now a great opening and opportunity for Dave Moore at Bayern? A wet sponge can work wonders.   And can we blame Dave for his medical treatment of Robertson if we fail to get promoted?    ;) ;D
