Are fighting for their Conference League place tomorrow.

They know that if they can see off Barnet, Grimsby Town will have greater incentive to defeat Alfreton Town (the only team outside the bottom 4 that Dartford can catch).

Jordan Chiedozie (very good pedigree) has scored in each of the last 2 games in creditable draws against Gateshead and Torquay and confidence within the team must be on the rise.

Come on Dartford!

Admirable straw clutching, hope you're right!

(the pessimists view is that they've won 1 in 10 and have recently lost at home to Altrincham)

They got a draw with Bristol Rovers not toolong back didn't they? Very unlikely that lightning would strike twice.

Hills offering 37.56/1 on all teams to be on 82pts at 5pm tomorrow. I wouldn't put anything on at 375.6/1!

I think all games, at this stage of the season, are tough for all sorts of reasons, some of which are not factors in early season games. I think that's a really hard game for Barnet tomorrow, even though, on paper, you'd expect them to win.

Similarly, for Bristol Rovers, a tough game against a team who have nothing to lose, and who could therefore play with freedom and zero pressure.

I think pressure is the key factor now. The teams that handle this best will come out on top. All to play for.

For what it's worth, I think Bristol Rovers will win, as will we, and Barnet will draw.

I'd take that. If Barnet don't win then winning all our games would at least take it to the last day of the season. What a day that could be!

It's a derby game so anything can happen

I hope that Dartford have been shown some of he BARNET fans comments on their forum where they call this game a gimme

Some of the arrogance from Barnet fans makes me chuckle. If they had won the league already like they pretty much should've done then fair do's but town and Bristol Rovers were allowed back in to the race through Barnets inconsistency.

Barnet have also been humiliated by us twice...

Was with a dartford fan last night who was at torquay where they were unlucky not to win. Justin is johns son and is half decent apparently.
He quietly fancies their chances.theyve got to win to stay up so ts of a Shiite or bust effort for them today

Barnet haven't won more than 2 games in a row since September. Expecting them to win 5 in a row seems a little optimistic however big the prize on offer,

Great shout. We've proved we are capable of winning 4 in a row. All to play for!

Fcking hell, I hope the Dartford players are more up for it than the manager sounds.

if this finishes Barnet 0 it will be a miracle. Having said that they don't look entirely secure at the other end

I'm hoping its going to be one of those games when a team misses chance after chance before letting one in right at the end.

1-0 Barnet

Very little to suggest Dartford will get anything from this game

Dart ford are really poor, can,t see us getting any favours there

When Dartford get the ball into the Barnet box they look likely, but they give it away so often it's unbelievable

Well the best thing that can be said is that at least it's only one nil. Frankly it's not looking good,  but Barnet look shaky at the back.

One thing is certain we will not be playing Dartford next season.

Ref looking after Barnet
Posted by: MeanwoodMariner, April 6, 2015, 1:38pm; Reply: 34
I think Barnet were equally as in control at Alfreton so perhaps there's still hope. At 1-0 Dartford are not dead & buried but another for Barnet looks far more likely than an equaliser.

Goal attempts Barnet 10 Dartford 1

The longer it stays at 1-0 the more Barnet will be nervous. However if they get a second it will be all over. Dartford a bit better (not much though).

Dartford are poor! No wonder they will be going down.  :-/

Difficult to see Dartford scoring if they played all night (please be famous last words)

Ten minutes to go - Sadly I can't really see Dartford getting anything here. They are genuinely appalling.

Ah well, in reality we always knew Barnet were going to beat Dartford, they've now got tough games ahead. Lets beat Alfreton and keep the pressure up.

We now need Barnet to slip up twice given their goal difference. Can't see it myself.

We need them to slip up once in the next two games, if they do that there will be an enormous amount of pressure on them on the closing day.

But we still need them to slip up twice out of three games, if we win all of ours that is. As i say, i can't see it and i think Hurst is already looking to the play offs with today's team selection.

If they can not play better than that,

They will not win any of their last 3 games.

Don't think many teams could play properly on Dartford's pitch - don't think it helped Chiedozie's knee in the pre-match kick about either  :-/
