Not quite. They are only 8 behind us in GD. They could go above us today in principle with a very big win.

Jermaine Easter (BR striker) off injured, hopefully for the rest of the season (although I don't want to wish pain on the guy)  :-/

3-0 Bristol Rovers. Finger crossed it stops there, don't want there goal difference getting better than ours.

League two relegation battle is interesting. Hartlepool, Tranmere and Carlisle have all been in the bottom two at some point this afternoon

FGR look decent, got some good players in their side, we need to win this league and avoid the play off lottery.

Well we can't expect everyone to conveniently drop points for our benefit every week.

We just need to win and then we leapfrog Bristol again, can't see Barnet losing tomorrow either so we must win to keep the pressure on, out of the last 5 games I think Gateshead will be the toughest test.

We need a convincing win tomorrow to put the pressure back on Bristol, fair play to Bristol though because that result for them has really put them back in the mix and showed their intention, Pressure is back on us, let's hope Town can reply to todays win with a win themselves.

FGR losing is a good result for Town. Keeps Halifax in with a decent shot of the play offs with Barnet to host them soon.

They ARE getting ready by making themselves safe before that day!

There will be weekends when results go to form and we don't make up ground / forge ahead. We just need to stay focussed on the things we can affect.

I'm not so sure now, there the only one of the 5 not on a decent run of form, having said previously we have the easiest run in our final 4 opponents are all on decent runs that belie's there league positions. Hopefully that will help us given our track record against the lower teams but they will all be tough

The odds are wide open for the title:

Barnet 2.4
Rovers 3
Grimsby 3.5

Personally I'd make Rovers slight favourites after today's games.

We're the best value there in my opinion. If I was a neutral I'd back us.

Bristols away form hasn't been great, just depends on whether kiddy and Dover are motivated being midtable, but I guess teams always want to prove themselves against the big teams and have an effect on the title race, Southport and alfreton fighting relegation, will be a tougher match for Bristol if we win at alfreton so not sure, don't know what to make of Barnet either, but looking at there form they can't win 4 games in a row, 4 wins out of 5 for us should do it really, God knows
