I think we need a way to get everyone on their feet at BP to get the atmosphere at home games. In the same way Villa fans all stood and clapped for a minute when the number on the scoreboard clock ticked over to Stan Petrov's shirt number. I'm not suggesting any of the squad are struck down with illness like Petrov. So what number could we use to celebrate? A smaller number would be better. I thought about "10" for the season we were relegated, not that I want to celebrate it, but more as a reminder of what we're aiming for. Or "11" for my favorite ever Town player, Bobby Cumming. any other suggestions?

You can't have him back, you can't have him back, we've got Carl Magnay, you can't have him back.

I was thinking of 78 but thought it was too late in the game. 18 AND 78 is a much better idea.

Sorry I can't think of why you would want to do this. Petrov is done for a reason. its not about anything other than unity over his illness. Lets perhaps get behind the team at points in the game when things aren't going so well because for a fact that doesn't happen. We are a long way away from pulling unity from a minutes applause for a random made up minute of the game and giving a dubious reason.

Surely it would be 33 and 45 and 78?

Just....no. One of THE worst ideas to come out football recently.

Agree to do it as a tribute to somebody close to the club dying due to tragic events is one thing but to trivialize it in such a way would be in bad taste.

Moments like clapping on specific minutes are for the most special moments i.e. petrov.
Getting relegated in 2010 and clapping on the tenth minute has to be one of the most ridiculous things I Have ever heard or read.
No offence.

Please at the Gateshead game can we all clap at minutes 7, 12, 15, 24, 28 & 37?
They're the lottery numbers I play every week but haven't managed to win yet. I promise to donate 1% of winnings to GTFC.
Thank you.

What about clapping at the 90th minute?......as the players are leaving the pitch and we've won.

Yeah I've long thought we are poor at that, especially at home. Our lot always seem more intent on leaving than applauding our players.

How about clapping in the 90th minute in memory of those dozens of games we've given away after that minute? ;D
