A good night for GTFC would be -

Macclesfield to lose at Braintree,
Halifax to lose at Southport.

Whether we like it or not, what others do will have a big bearing on the Mariners playoff aspirations.

I shall also be watching Aston Villa v West Brom on BT Sport 1, ( interesting one this)
Can Tim Sherwood have an immediate effect on the team's ailing results.
Is Berahino the real deal.

Villa are battering WBA. Probably created more chances in 45 mins than they have all season. Amazing it's only 1-0.

York 3-0 up at Cambridge (FA Cup hangover?). If York lose/had lost, they could have gone back in the drop zone.

Villa get their first pen of the season in the last second of the game to win.

Macclesfield win and go above Town, but Halifax lose ground by losing to lowly Southport, swings and roundabouts.

Out on a months loan I think.

I hoped he would have got more game time but with Magnay on his way to what I expect will be POTY trophy I guess his chances have been more limited than maybe envisaged

excellent result in southport beating Halifax. Macclesfield pulled it out the bag fair play to them but Halifax result more important for me.

how many former or current gtfc players were involved in that one match?

I've got:

Hamish Watson, Paul Walker, John McDermott, Matthew Bloomer, Liam Davis, Ciaran Toner,

Have I missed anyone?

Walker had to go off with a hamstring problem, hopefully nothing too serious?

Edit: just cramp apparently
