Listened to this again and had a nice little chuckle. He was saying we were the poorest grimsby side he has faced and very bitter. That could be true to an extent Mr. Hill but look where you are and look where we are. Also, Barnet haven't walked it.

Gary Hill seems to have a real dislike of something about us, he moaned about us 'celebrating like we had won the Champions league" in both games last year IIRC.  We had scored late on in both games so the reaction was understandable really but he seemed incredibly bitter, hope we can make him give another post match interview.

Sounds as though there could be a really good chant there for the Town inflatable fans!(clap)

I'm not sure he has a particular dislike of us, I think he's just an almighty helmet.

He does seem to be one of those managers whose team never loses because they weren't good enough. It's always bad luck or dodgy refereeing of some sort to blame.

Don't think he likes Craig Disley either. Something about him diving a few seasons back.

If Diz scores a goal I hope he does a massive Klinsmann dive in front of the Woking bench!

' I've seen most of the teams in the league now and Barnet will walk it, there's no doubt about that now. They are far better than anyone else' - Gary Hill

He had a dig at Bristol Rovers a few weeks ago as well. Sounds a very bitter man.

His comments after their recent 2-0 win at Lincoln also help build the picture of the man,

"Lincoln fans will probably think that was their best result of the season"   (escaping with only a 2 goal defeat)

I think the inflatable member would be more appropriate!

Following Woking's win at Dartford last night it appears we're "a good Grimsby side" now!

Think a chant of "Where's your Aswad gone" is in order too.

i hope we play even worse than we did last week against Braintree, they dominate the game but fail to score and Mckeown scores a goal in the last second by just punting  a long kick up the pitch which their keeper seems to have covered but is distracted by the sun glaring off Hills head and the ball rolls into the goal.

That would be poetry. Fingers crossed  :)

We'd have to make sure we're playing towards the covered terrace in the second half then. And all wearing  sunglasses.  8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)(indian)

Looks like we've had a busy little Woking fan red crossing everything on this thread! 😂

Perhaps Garry Hill, "Can use computers" and is putting in the little red crosses himself?

I like the two articles in the Telegraph today, Doig saying no-one is bothered about Hill's comments, and then Palmer who says the players have spoken about his comments and it bring extra motivation!
