FGR are to re-appeal their 3 point deductions for fielding an ineligible player on the first day of the season.

Although I doubt The Conference will change their mind it will put them level on points with us (they have played 1 game more) if they are successful

So, basically, they are trying to make up the rules as they go along?

Hope the Conference deduct them further points for the frivolous appeal!  ;)

They are sending in their stewards if they do not get their 3 points back.

Excellent!  That's a big green tick from me.

Did they not appeal at the time ?

That's what I was thinking. I can't see how they can really expect to appeal now with any credibility. Hopefully it'll just be thrown out.

Hopefully it won't matter either way to us.

Their appeal was turned down at the time.  If there were allowed to appeal (again) at this late stage it would be very wrong. Extending this view of a second, later appeal, suppose they appealed close to the end of the season in order to pick the team they played in the play-offs?  Assuming that they would be in the play-offs and the appeal was successful. All very wrong and unfair.
