I recently moved to Telford and play in a 5 a side tournament and every Monday night it's at Telford football stadium, good facilities actually, anyway.. Last night when I was wearing my town too, the ref, who happens to work at the stadium goes "you're brave wearing that around here, were going to do you tomorrow 2-1.. He kept proceeding to state 2-1 throughout the match, lol irritating and all banter really, but I genuinely think he believed it lol.. He even eluded to us being "Rubbish at home" which suprised me that's it's not just us who notice haha.  Anyway I hope we prove the sharp object wrong! Otherwise I'm not going next Monday :P

Not a bad interview from Jack Makreth maybe optimistic to think he'll take his 5 or 6 goals to maybe 15 by the end of the season, but I hope he proves me wrong haha.  Hard working lad and improving every game though!

I read on Telfords official website that the supporters coach was canceled.  So that's why only 8.

8:03 PM

17: Gray fires a speculative 30-yard volley over and then is booked for an earlier foul on Clay #GTFC

7:54 PM

8: Robertson has come to the touchline to receive treatment on an eye injury. He's now back in play #GTFC

whats the atmosphere like is like a party like when at Barnet or is it back to being a morgue....some fans dont half annoy me in that they have very little patients these days and expect to be 5 nil up its only HT ffs another 45 to go and once we grind them down we'll get the goal we need.  i hope the players are getting some encouragement.  If i was there i'd be asking why the booing, when we've pretty much dominated the game.

Hard not to get a bit twitchy. It's no wonder that town fans just struggle to understand their own team sometimes.. we beat the league leaders on Saturday 3-1 with a really convincing display, and from the sounds of things we're crawling to a 1-0 victory over the dead last team three days later. It's utterly baffling!

Just done the promotion calculator and given us 9 wins, a draw and a loss in the final 11 games.

This gives:

Grimsby 46 24 91
Barnet 46 35 89
Bristol Rovers 46 20 89
Macclesfield 46 18 88
Forest Green 46 17 76
FC Halifax 46 14 72

Maybe a bit far-fetched but possible - on paper, Town have the easiest run in of all the top clubs....

Should have scored more but we got the 1 that counts. Roll on Braintree. Bristol have Gateshead away on Saturday and Macc and Barnet have Eastleigh/Alty away respectively
Posted by: mariner91, February 24, 2015, 9:50pm; Reply: 91
This weekend could be important for us. Macc play Eastleigh, Bristol play Gateshead, and Halifax have a difficult trip to Kiddie. If the teams above us win then it cements our play off position, if the teams below us win then we could get closer to the teams above. We've just got to keep winning  :)
