Maggers is fast becoming a bit of a cult hero for Town fans so we could really do with a decent song for him.
Any ideas?
All I can think of is a variation of the Spurs song for Harry Kane.

I'm sure the lads in The Pontoon could get something going.

You really get the impression the bloke is lovin it here as well, always at the front of a pile up, leading the sing song on the coach, always commenting about the fans and size of club on the socials, when do we sign him for another year, surely we wont let him slip through regardless of where we are league wise next year!

What was the song that we used to sing for Joe Waters?
His name is Joey Waters, he's the leader of the Town ...and so on etc.etc.
Could just substitute that to

Our contract renewal policy is ridiculous and dangerous as Carl can speak to other clubs now. He has proven himself, I don't buy this we don't know what league we'll be in nonsense. In Carl's case, he is clearly able to make the step up. He should be offered a contract based on staying in this league with a promotion clause if we make it.
We have several players in similar situations.

Totally agree! He's a player we need in the team. He has passion and clearly wants to play for us, a deffinate player you would want in the dressing room.
