Simariner should feel rightly proud to have initiated that.

Defo close Pete, never in my wildest dreams was I expecting such a spectacle!
Great for my teenage sons to experience, those days had to be a tale from their dads fading memory :)
Would it not be great to have a theme for each away day at least til the seasons end?

Very much echo everyone's comments Si, absolutely quality work pal.
What about a fisherman theme for Alfeton?! 1000 fisherman could look absolutely brilliant!

I would like to thank the steward goons at Forest Green wouldn't it be ironic if they proved to be the spark that ignited us into action and focused us on getting back in the league lol ;D ;D ;D

Absolutely, a tactical masterstoke. The steward at FGR might have inadvertently help us strike gold.

What a day Alfreton could be. Can you imagine the players faces when they walk out to 1000 fisherman, easter bunnies or santas. What about a black and white theme? Could be a zebra, penguin, robber, mime character, skeleton, panda, cow, badger etc. The more suggestions the better.

Black and White theme for the Black and White Army has to be it for Alfreton. Just have to wear anything Black or White and plenty of balloons and scarves etc.

I remember a long long time ago,
Town fans went dressed as fishermen with all their wet gear on,
It proved to be a master stroke because it pisse d down all game,
Although the Town fans were in an open terrace ,
They did not get wet. 8)

In the Oldun days flatcaps were worn by nearly everyone at footy matches. How about having a flat hat away day. Most can get hold of one and they are easy to carry or wear. Could be a great retro sight. Even the most fastidious steward would have great difficulty in claiming a flat cap is a weapon or a threat to anything. Go for it lads (and lassies) look good on ladies too.
