On these betting websites they have a thing called "Bet Accumulator" that allows you to bet on a few matches and in return you can a lot better odds. The catch is even if you lose on one of the matches, you don't win at all.

Is an accumulator a new concept to you?

Nice return...out of interest what bets did you place?

I've never actually come up trumps with an accumulator...there always seems to be one bet that goes against the grain but I bet (excuse the pun!) when all yours come in, it's a brilliant feeling!  :)

In the context of the OP it sounded like some sort of prediction tool. Unfortunately I (or my bank account) know what accumulators are.

Just sounds like a regular accumulator to me:

"allows you to bet on a few matches and in return you can a lot better odds. The catch is even if you lose on one of the matches, you don't win at all."

I can't remember all of the bets, but i correctly chose 2 of the correct scored. Preston 3-1, and man united 3-0.

I have learnt the hard way never to back town in such accumulator as they are the one that have let me down for £3k and £2.8k

Hmmm, if this was the first time I had done an accumulator and had won over 2k I'm not sure I would forget which selections I'd made by the following day, I'd remember for a long time. I'm starting to get a faint whiff of bullshit here....

That was posted after I'd asked. The term Bet Accumulator with caps lock suggests it's a specific name. Whereas most people call it an acca or an accumulator - hence the confusion. Now get off your high horse, people can have brainfarts.

I very rarely bet on anything but i had a bit of a punt on a 6 team accy last FA cup Saturday. My two bankers were Chelsea at home to Bradford and Man City at home to Middlesbrough. They can't lose i said to myself............................

Shows why bookies go home in flash cars.

In Round 3 and 4 I usually bet on 3 or 4 underdogs winning in the hope it one day comes off.

Didn't do it this year!

I genuinely think Grimsby 2012 has only just discovered accumulators and has had a slice of good fortune. Everyone else is just stunned tho' mate as they have prob been using accys ( and losing ) since you could bet on bronty to beat t rex to the juicy cavemen! Most i ever won was 2 grand off a fiver altho it wasnt an accy it was on Sol Campbell to score 1st then barca to win 3-1 in the Champs League final about 10 years ago.
