https://audioboom.com/boos/2826401-grimsby-town-manager-paul-hurst-talking-to-humbersidesport-after-the-2-0-win-at-nuneaton

Just listened to Paul's post-match interview. Delighted to hear him talking about "16 big games" ahead. Everyone needs to be treated as a cup match and we need to win them all if we are going to go up as champions. That said, Eastleigh looks tough on paper - only one home defeat all season (a blip against Altrincham).  UTFM.

Next 6 games are massive and not easy

Eastleigh (A)
Telford (H)
Dover (A)
Forest Green (A)
Bristol Rovers (H)
Barnet (A)

If we're still in the mix after those games we have a great chance as the final 10 games (on paper) don't look too bad. Important that we don't get too carried away by the wins or too critical about the defeats over the next 6 games.

If you could change the Barnet game to a draw that would be an excellent set of results IMO

I agree with Meza on this one. Town average roughly 10 points every 6 games.

For me, our season path has been clear since about the end of October.

Will we win the title? No. I'd say our chances are about 1 in 50.

Will we make the play offs? Yes. Chances? 5 out of 6.

Will we go up?  No. Chances? 1 in 4.

Take each game as it comes etc etc but these next six games are the difference between a title challenge and a limp into the play offs.

In terms of the title I think we've left ourselves a bit too much to do now but who knows. So much depends on getting a left back, making Palmer's loan longer and Hannah finding his way onto the scoresheet more often

Well you have you have your left back (hopefully)  Palmer`s loan wont go to the seasons end, they will have seen his progress with us and will want him back, and its Hannah`s last chance IMO to get some goal scoring form before the seasons end and he will be in danger of going
