A testing run coming up including games against Eastleigh, Bristol R and Barnet. Makes these games against the lower teams even more important. Team news anyone?

No Nielson in the 16. But he was there warming up with the squad apparently.

Is Brown injured?

Well we've really set our stall out and are taking the game to them. Not. More like playing it tight, and hoping something turns up. Few mistakes creeping in.
Throw in some hapless officiating. Inspiring stuff.

Posted by: Chrisblor, January 24, 2015, 4:01pm; Reply: 31
Midfield has been rubbish. Main tactic so far seems to be lumping it up from defence and praying Palmer can flick it on to someone. It's not working at all, Disley and Clay have been barely involved. Hurst needs to be more adventurous here. Magnay first half motm by miles. Officials are shite too.

Like I say, our main replacement for him is pretty much a coach now, pearson and toto are shoe ins for the first team, or perhaps in the mind of the player possibly lacking in confidence right now for whatever reason, forced to be in the first team

Yes I agree, originally I guess Parslow and Magnay would have been stand ins but due to the full backs situation (not that I know anything about Aswad or indeed why Bignot is never considered), we do need another defender.

Palmer and Hannah - strike force for Eastleigh - what's wrong with that? Lucky to 'ave 'em, since the other alternatives appear to currently be injured.
Bit of a challenge on Tuesday - Eastleigh being fresh and likely full strength. A resilient Town needs to turn up.
