Less than a week since arguably our best result of the season and I'm still all of the above. Baffled by Hurst's selection last night which seemed to be neither one thing or the other, bemused by our inability to sign any players of any ability and befuddled by the Aswad absence, the Nielson omissions and the Watson whereabouts.

Neilson was ill last night.

Yup and Hurst even said in his interview that the formation we started in would have suited Scott, so implying he may have started if not ill.

I had few complaints with last night's selection.  Maybe Hannah could have started, maybe could have had Winfarrah/Watson on the bench.  Given that Walker played, and Paddy played, I was reasonably happy. :)

There's a picture of Neilson drinking a pint on Instagram uploaded 36 hours ago.

Doesn't necessarily mean he was drinking a pint 36 hours ago.

I can remember Brian Clough ordering the players out for a few beers the night before the European cup final, it worked a treat instead of being up all night fretting about the game they slept like babies and were fresh as daisies for the game which of course they won, imagine that today! Players have pint before game! When I played we had a can at half time lol!!!
