Can't they bring the Kick Off Forward to midday?

Lets face it nobody's actually going to go

That tickled me for some reason! Fair point though.

Play at neutral ground, hardly anyone will go anyway so it won't inconvenience many people

Town departing at 1pm so needs an earlyish call to prevent a wasted journey.

It makes this even tinier and a lot more pottier

Should be settled on the day of the original game though can understand smaller clubs like Lincoln need the revenue

Semi final and Wembley would be a nice little earner for them, with all them Newcastle fans attending!

Blame Hurst myself, should have fking gone for it in the first match if he wants to win it as much as he says he wants to, they werent interested or threatening. Very poorly thought out approach which now has the real potential to start interfering with the ultimate goal of promotion.

Forfeit the game and let Gateshead have the inconvenience of travelling to Wrexham on Saturday when they could be advancing up the league!

If its there to be won,  win it

I don't think it's by accident that none of our promotion rivals barring Halifax are left in this ridiculous diversion.

Will try again on Wednesday if it's cancelled today.

Pitch inspection at 11:45.

If they've prepared the pitch for this and looked after it properly then it should be on. But this is Gateshead so will probably be off.

It's the FA Trophy it's here to curse us, hopefully this match will be our last ever FA Trophy game  :)

Absolutely no chance of this going ahead tonight in my opinion. It's colder than last Wednesday!

Surely it should be played at a neutral ground if the weather issue at Gateshead is going to continue, we've been here before haven't we? :-/

Play it at St James Park. A few of us might actually go then..  :X

If the league wants this trophy to be taken more seriously, they could start by insisiting that all ties are decided on the day. Its non league grounds middle of winter. This will always happen

Good point. They could also start it sooner say in July so that weather makes less of an impact. They could also regionalise it so that we would be playing only clubs in the North until the semi finals.
