Palmer is certainly giving us better attacking options (SIGN HIM UP PH) he seems to instinctively know where LJL is and then the gaps appear for Arnold and Mackreth.

First mistake he's made, but some great play.

From Akinde? Real shame he didn't get a red for it. A ban for Barnet's star man would have helped out...

Besides, this now sounds like we're dominating. Chance after chance. Not over yet though - if we do see ths out as we should, I hope the lads get a great reception at the end, I'm sure they will! Will be great for the morale as well.

As the commentators said earlier, because Barnet came to play, it's helped us. When team stick men behind the ball, that's when we struggle. And that's where hurst needs assistance. Get Clive Mendonca off that production line at fu cking Nissan and get him to cheapside

Really impressive performance so far.  Think the defence had looked good, midfield  has done well and we look very strong going forward. Ollie Palmer looks very exciting.

Expect plenty of chipped shots now we've got Arnold and Palmer partnering Lennie.

Excellent performance. Ollie Palmer and LJL  gave Barnet defenders a torrid time and you could see how shattered they were in the last 10. The whole team played well today.

Now the standard has been re-set, it's consistency - consistency - consistency required from now until the end of the season.

TAGG if you saw that game you have to give credit to Nathan Arnold he was very good today from what I saw..

And Barnet being excrement I thought was more of us being a lot better tbh and not giving them the space to play.

That was not the only positive thing he said about Town and fair play to him.  He also said we played at a high tempo, something we have all said we needed to do at BP and fans behind the team, proving again what we said before, players chase and close down the opposition and Town fans love it.

Even if we do miss out on automatic promotion, going into the play off's like the performance today gives us a fighting chance, definitely more like it.

I've got a feeling they're going to get hauled in by Brizzle.  To be honest, I'd rather not be facing Bristol Rovers in the playoffs.

Are you serious?! Arnold caused them so many problems and was all over the pitch. He tired towards the end but game was already won

Impressed with Palmer today.

Great result and much needed to give the players and us fans confidence.

Thought he was excellent. Good with the ball but most pleasing of all was him sprinting back after 90 minutes to get goal side of his man.

Well last season the best match I saw was Grimsby v Barnet and so it was again this season! It looked so like being a bad day when they scored early on from a debatable penalty but we smashed our way back into the game with a wonderful strike by this amazing loan signing Ollie Palmer and a debatable penalty this time for us. Second half they came out strong but we rode the storm and then the rest of the half was all ours, so many good breaks could have netted us 5 or 6 goals.
Well done team and well done fans for keeping the atmosphere going with flag waving, cheering chanting and overall great support. This is how it should be!!!!
