Watching town on bt sports the main stand and pontoon are more or less empty.  Does it kick off 12:45?

I think with the match being televised and our poor home record of late it was always going to be a low attendance.

If a par attendance for the season is 3,500 then 3,100 for a game on TV at a lunchtime after a couple of bad results and all the despondency, is a pretty decent effort.  Osmond looked a bit empty, but the club did place a lot of conditions on those tickets and so was always going to be a bit bitty, but good for those who took advantage of the offer and got to see a couple of town goals at their end.

The fans who were there made a decent noise and got behind the team well and it came across on the TV.

Makes you wonder what the gate would have been if we had played like that over the Lincoln and Macc games.

Absolutely. At least this game being on BT will be a decent advert. It might encourage a few more to BP but the team have to keep on playing this way as well.

This is key to our budget and long term success, performances like today have to be the norm at BP, not just when the camera's are there.

LJL said on camera he doesn't know why we have been inconsistent but at least he knows now that performances like today get all the Town fans behind them.

All those who moaned about our performance against Lincoln please stay away.
Stay on here or wait to watch our games on BT Sports. We don't need you.

Don't be so effing sanctimonious. Even Mr Fenty wants us grumpy old twits at BP!

In all honesty , the way we have been playing to date  , how many really expected the result today ? Crowd reflected that as well . The crowd who were there witnessed  a good spectacle that us regulars knew was in the team and  got behind them .

Unfortunately  4 of the regulars who sit behind us were missing due to lack of expectations.

So you didn't moan in the slightest after that game? Really? I find that very hard to believe to be honest after our performance on that day.

We need every fan possible at BP regardless!!

Well we DO need EVERY fan so Mr Cranium is quite wrong as for the empty stadium it was always going to be low given our recent two home games plus TV and such but that aside it was probably the performance of the season so far,at home anyway.

Being on TV there commentators admitted it was the best non league game they had seen now that is quite something considering we were by far the better side. I hope other sides watching that will come here thinking. oh shat this is going to be the lions den.

WELL DONE TO ALL YESTERDAY THANK YOU FOR RESTORING MY FAITH YOU NOW KNOW YOU CAN BEAT ANYONE IN THIS LEAGUE BELIEVE IN YOUR SELVES YOU HAVE THE ABILITY.

It's a shame that there were only just over 3,000 overall, but they did leave it til Wednesday to start those offers. I 'think' had the offers been put on a week earlier, the attendance would of been a bit higher.

Talking about the offers, I think that family ticket offer is a great idea, but would be best if it were for any stand.
I have mentioned many times in the last couple of seasons about having family season tickets.
...
The atmosphere were pretty good considering the attendance. But, I think it will only be a one off, knowing that many of the lads who made the noise normally sit in the lower Findus. They were allowed a mega phone, 3 drums and there were flags being waved around, the club and stewards don't normally allow any of this, so I fear that it could be back to normal at the next home game, unfortunately.

Tel you what would be nice, to have the Osmond  available for the rest of the season.the few away fans can easily be housed in the closed corner. If we can get a good run together now and Barnet continue there slump things could get very interesting and the fans WILL RETURN with performances such as yesterday.

I don't criticise them. It was not a good performance after their equaliser but I think people under estimated Lincoln's performance. They beat Barnet 4-1 also

You are funny sometimes male private . Non league glory hunters lol oh the irony. ;D ;D ;D

More fans = more money for the club = better atmosphere for the final push makes perfect sense to me you probably don't remember Exeter.
