Just seen that Eastleigh missed THREE penalties against Lincoln today.

I wonder what the record is for most missed penalties in a game.

I remember that Rochdale had 3 pens saved by Paul Crichton for Doncaster in the 90's.

Incidentally, Eastleigh are now level on points and games with us.

Lincoln must of gone there brimming with confidence. On a winning run, just beaten us and followed it up by hammering the runaway league leaders.

They then let in 4, concede 3 penalties and fail to get a shot on target all game. They picked up their customary red card too

Funny old game

Credit to Eastleigh. They could be a real threat.

Lincoln paid a price for their appalling disciplinary record
Eastleigh are clicking into form now and with their cash in Janaury transfer amrket could do some damage in play offs
Midson and Constable are good strikers at this level

I remember on an old Danny Baker video with Gary Bailey saving 3 penalties in a game for Man U against Ipswich.

Eastleigh have also signed Brian Howard, the ex Barnsley attacking midfielder who's still fairly decent from what I remember, wouldn't be surprised to see them challenge at the top before long.
