Nielson not even on the bench?

Unsurprisingly sounds like a low attendance.

Yes, because he's injured...

More interestingly Hannah's not in the squad. Injured? Or on his way out?

Put on the loan list i heard.

Also interesting to see Thomas nowhere to be seen. Was told 2 day ago he has been a naughty boy and we may not see him again. Was told a bit more but can't confirm if true, so will leave it there.

Heard something similar about Aswad myself.

Come on then, tell us. (As long as it's not slanderous of course  ;))

I hope the Arnold-Palmer partnership can chip in with a few!  ;D

So we sign a big target man, then play with no wingers? :-/

Who's the main commentator today? I've only just tuned in and his voice doesn't exactly compel me to keep listening. Though, there probably isn't that much for the lad to get excited about.

The first half sounded 'thrilling': Can't wait for the second to start.

A goal for us would be nice as well.

poor first touch....movement not particularly impressive and anticipation lacking..
i have just left at half time...things to do and was on a freebie....playing with a more attack minded formation with arnold behind ollie and ljl so...bizarrely ....we are not playing hoof or channel ball but playing it on the deck backwards and sideways between midfield and back four....just wasted 45 mins of strong wind advantage by only mustering one attempt from range

What's this buisness with Thomas just out of interest? I for one wouldn't be unhappy to see him leave really, has been his usual self lately...a liability. Magnay, although he prefers right back (from what I've heard) fills me with more confidence than Aswad ever has.

Cockerill

John Cockerill sums it up for me, Hurst disappointing and doesn't show a willingness to win the game.

Well the only way they are going to get the fans on their side and cheering them on is if tgey put in a good performance at home and the more they dont the worse it will get.  When away from home that pressure to some degree will be lifted.  C'mon town.

Bringing Mackreth on in the 90th minute is Hurst taking the urine?

Haven't put the commentary on. Again. Actually went shopping and missed first half. Was hoping to log into the Fishy and see i'd missed a cracker...oh dear.
For the first time in 30+ years I've intentionally skipped the commentary for two games running and feel ok, although slightly alarmed about it.
Today surely should have bee a game to try new things, throw a little caution to the wind and attack? Entertain :-/ ?

Hurst has done no favours for himself today and his case for the trophy. A midweek fixture is just what we need before a vital game against the league leaders next Saturday.  I wonder which  manager didn't want the replay to be finished on the night.

This game sums up the last few years. No doubt if Barnet win, the excuse will be the mid week game we now have to play

That sounded very very poor, We could of done with a good performance today ready for Barnet, be interesting to see what next weeks crowd will be. :-/

Perhaps he thinks there's more chance of winning an away game? ;)

I was listening to the game on the radio this afternoon whilst working in the garden.  I was taking nails out of wood that I am going to be making planters with.  I had more fun pulling out the nails out than listening to that rubbish.  I didn't hear any boo's or slagging players off so that factors out the bullshit about negative fans fault.
